freya waring understands why so many artists can’t stop writing about california—she feels the mythical pull and it drives her mad. she likes coffee with full-cream milk, moody sky ferreira songs, late-november sunshine and cold ocean water. she was born three days off the full moon, on stolen gadigal land.
freya is a writer, gaffer and creative director whose work centres around vulnerability, the body and the grotesque. they hold a bachelor of communications (media arts and production) from the university of technology sydney. some of their latest collaborations include booker magazine, uts vertigo, milly mcpherson, sydney writer’s festival, frezco and sxsw sydney.
